As a relative of one of the ship’s crew said, on March 19, three crew members died and four were injured as a result of a missile that hit the ship. However, according to the authorities of the Kaliningrad region, a fire broke out on board the trawler, resulting in the death of one person.
“When they took the survivors, everyone knew very well that three people had died. And everyone knew very well that a rocket had hit. But they decided to write that there was “fire.” I wonder what kind of fire it was, if there is no captain’s cabin, it was just demolished,” – he said.
According to the interlocutor, the victims are in a hospital in the city of Pionersk, one of them is in serious condition. At the hospital, the wounded were allegedly interrogated by FSB officers, who asked the crew “not to discuss the incident.”
Earlier, the media found out, based on open data from the AIS automatic tracking system, that Captain Lobanov could enter the training area of the Baltic Fleet of the Russian Navy.
