Americans are monitoring reports that extremists are planning to attack large gatherings in Moscow, including concerts. US citizens are advised to avoid large gatherings for the next 48 hours. This was stated by the US Embassy in Russia, Reuters reports.
The diplomatic department made its statement a few hours after the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation said it had foiled an attack on a synagogue in Moscow by representatives of the Islamic State terrorist group.
Let us recall that the day before the US Embassy in Russia stated that extremists were preparing attacks in crowded places in the Russian capital over the next 48 hours. Americans are urged to avoid large gatherings.
The United States has announced the highest alert level for Russia: red, “do not travel.” Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen and South Sudan and Iran have the same level of danger.
