The Russians launched 15 Shahed-type attack drones from the Cape Chauda area in occupied Crimea and Russian Primorsko-Akhtarsk. The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on March 9 in Telegram.
The defenders of the sky managed to destroy 12 Shaheds within the Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk and Poltava regions.
A hit by Russian drones was recorded in the Dnepropetrovsk region. As the head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional military administration Sergei Lysak reported on Telegram, enemy drones hit an industrial enterprise in the Krivoy Rog region. A fire broke out there, but there were no casualties.
Let us remind you that on the night of March 8, the Russian kamikaze drone Shahed got stuck in the propeller of a windmill in the Nikolaev region. The warhead of the UAV did not explode, so sappers dismantled it from a height of 55 m, which is equivalent to an 18-story building.
