ZN.UA said that it is not known now whether the Minister of Defense signed the report against the background of the “announcement” of the general’s appointment as ambassador.
General Valery Zaluzhny, newly appointed ambassador to Great Britain, passed a military medical commission (MMC) and was declared unfit for military service. This was announced by the ZN.UA publication on Saturday, March 9, citing sources.
The media say that the ex-commander-in-chief passed the military military training test last winter, and in February he wrote a report on his dismissal from military service.
“After dismissal from his post by the decision of the President, Zaluzhny was placed at the disposal of the Minister of Defense. The Minister of Defense Umerov was not offered any significant military position adequate to the level of training and experience of Zaluzhny, as President Zelensky did not offer it earlier, “said the message.
In this regard, Zaluzhny decided to resign from military service.
The publication added that it is not known whether the Minister of Defense signed the report after the President announced his intention to send Valery Zaluzhny as ambassador to London.
Let’s recall that on February 8 it became known that the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky held a meeting with the then Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
