On the night of March 7-8, the Russian invaders attacked the territory of Ukraine with S-300 and Kh-59 missiles and suicide bombers. In total, the enemy launched 37 drones. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on its Telegram channel.
“On the night of March 8, 2024, the enemy attacked the south and east of Ukraine, using an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile, two Kh-59 guided aircraft missiles and 37 Shahed attack UAVs (drone launch area – Balaklava, Crimea),” it said in the message.
The enemy attack was repelled by units of the Air Force and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As a result of the fighting, 33 suicide bombers were shot down within the Odessa and Kharkov regions.
