Some representatives of parliamentary parties said that they “came to the meeting with Macron worried and more worried.”
French President Emmanuel Macron, in a meeting with parliamentary parties, said that sending troops to Ukraine is possible if the Russian invaders go beyond Kyiv or Odessa. This is what the representative of the Communist Party, Fabien Roussel, said, reports L’Independent.
He added that the French leader showed parliamentarians maps of possible directions of Russian strikes in Ukraine.
“Macron mentioned a scenario that could trigger an intervention: the advance of the front towards Odessa or towards Kyiv,” the politician explained.
The coordinator of the Unconquered France party, Manuel Bompard, said he “came to the meeting worried and more worried.”
Macron has previously noted that it is time for Ukraine’s allies to step up, stressing that now is not the time to show cowardice.
