Trump won the Republican vote in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Maine, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia, rejecting former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, his only rival.
Biden won Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont and Virginia, and won the mail-in vote in Iowa.
In Vermont, Nikki Haley won from the Republicans, and on the island of Samoa, Biden from the Democrats defeated Jason Palmer.
Opinion polls show that Biden, 81, and Trump, 77, have low ratings among voters.
On Super Tuesday, the United States chooses delegates for the party convention, where it will decide who will be nominated as the presidential candidate in the November 5 election.
