The percentage of voters with a favorable opinion reflects the strength of a candidate’s brand and is typically reflected in national election polls.
Donald Trump’s average approval rating in the US has reached its highest level since the 2022 midterm elections. Bloomberg wrote this on Monday, February 26, citing data from a RealClearPolitics survey.
It indicates that 42% of voters have a favorable view of Trump, down from a record low of 36% in December 2022.
“He is now considered better than Biden. Right now, the current president’s approval rating is about 40%,” the study said.
It is noted that voter turnout generally reflects national election polls.
“According to the RealClearPolitics average, Trump leads Biden by two percentage points in a head-to-head matchup,” the researchers said.
At the same time, the combined rating of the two main candidates is close to the historical minimum – 82%, that is, 18% of voters are dissatisfied with both candidates.
“These so-called ‘dual haters’ can help influence the outcome of the election: stay home or vote for an independent candidate like Robert Kennedy Jr.,” the rating analysis said.
Let’s remember that Trump previously promised to end the war in Ukraine “very quickly.” President Vladimir Zelensky said he was ready to listen to Trump’s specific “peace plan” and invited him to Ukraine.
