Rikard Jozwiak suggests that the European Union plans to make a joint statement by the three heads of EU institutions.
Hungary blocked the joint statement of EU countries on the second anniversary of the great war in Ukraine. About that stated correspondent Radio Liberty Rikard Jozwiak on social network X (formerly Twitter).
“Currently, Hungary is blocking a joint EU statement on the second year of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine,” he said.
He added that, most likely, it will be a joint statement of the three heads of EU institutions – the European Council, the European Commission and the European Parliament.
It was previously known that during its EU presidency, Hungary would lobby for the accession of Georgia and Moldova, but not Ukraine.
