Last Thursday, the 22nd, singer Selena Gomez released ‘Love On’, the first single from her new album, with a video full of references
Last night, the 22nd, Selena Gomez released the music video for her new single ‘Love On’, which will be part of the singer’s third studio album. According to record label Interscope, the song is a “pop anthem, inspired by all the time that Selena spent in Paris last year”.
The music video for ‘Love On’ is one of the most aesthetically beautiful in her career. Selena and, upon finishing watching it, the selenators (fans of the singer) were able to notice some clues and references about the singer’s new album. One of them is the use of roses throughout the video, reinforcing that her new project could be called ‘Roses’.
Additionally, other supposed references indicate that SG3 could be released in the summer, as noted by X user @jlawngomez in a tweet: “In the couch scene, Selena holds the book “aquell estiu suffocant” translated as “that suffocating summer”, probably indicating that SG3 will be released this summer.”
It is worth highlighting that, in 2015, Selena released ‘Revival’, considered her first solo album and, in 2020, ‘Rare’ her second album. In 2021, she released the EP ‘Revelación’, a project entirely in Spanish, which she promised her fans for years. See below some theories created by selenators about the singer’s new album!
What are your theories about this ending?
Is it just her telling a story in the video?
