A so-called “vacation” was organized for children from the occupied territories in 13 summer camps in Belarus.
From the beginning of the mass invasion of the Russian Federation until October 2023, at least 2,442 children were taken from Ukraine to the territory of Belarus. This is stated in the investigation Radio Liberty.
It is noted that the so-called “vacation” is organized for children from the occupied territories in 13 summer camps in Belarus, where, as the researchers note, the ideas “correspond to the political interests of Russia and Belarus” were promoted.
Reportedly, the propaganda of Russian aggression, violent culture is imposed on Ukrainian children and the political leadership of our state is discredited, mocking the Ukrainian people and their struggle against the aggressive actions of the Russian Federation.
According to the investigation, two organizations are directly related to the movement of Ukrainian children in Belarus: the Charitable Foundation of the Belarusian Paralympian and motivational speaker Alexei Talay, as well as the Belarusian Red Cross Society. All these actions take place with the direct approval of the Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko.
Offers of “vacation” come to parents of children directly from educational institutions or representatives of labor administrations.
In addition, the Belarusian branch of UNICEF (UN) is involved in the organization of the so-called children’s holidays, where pro-Russian narratives are disseminated in 2022.
We remind you that the media wrote that the European Union, in the 13th package of sanctions, introduces restrictions against Russians and Belarusians involved in the deportation of Ukrainian children.
It was previously reported that the Belarusian Red Cross is no longer a member of the International Federation of Red Cross Societies due to the deportation of Ukrainian children.
