Great Britain and Japan want to leave Russia without machine tools for defense enterprises. British Foreign Secretary David Cameron announced the introduction of more than 50 new sanctions against individuals and companies supporting Russia’s war in Ukraine.

    .

    Today’s sanctions list includes:

    • Companies involved in the production of munitions such as rocket launching systems, rockets, explosives and other important products used in military equipment. This includes the Sverdlov State Enterprise, Russia’s largest ammunition manufacturer.
    • Key Russian importers and machine tool manufacturers play an important role in the production of vital defense systems and components, ranging from missiles and engines to tanks and fighter jets.
    • Oil trader Niels Troost and his company Paramount Energy & Commodities SA.
    • Fractal Marine DMCC, Beks Ship Management and Active Shipping operating in the Russian energy sector and supplying Putin’s shadow fleet.
    • Two Russian diamond companies and Pavel Marinichev, the new CEO of Alrosa, Russia’s largest state-owned diamond producer, are estimated to have a 30% share of the global diamond market.
    • Five top managers or owners of leading Russian producers of copper, zinc and steel.

Today, Japan has expanded the list of goods prohibited for export to the Russian Federation, including milling and lathes with numerical control. The sanctions were introduced after an analysis of the weapons that Russia used in battles in Ukraine.
