A player of the Ukrainian national basketball team stabbed to death a 15-year-old German schoolboy.

The day before, 17-year-old Ukrainian basketball player Vladimir Ermakov was killed in the city of Oberhausen in western Germany. He played for the Ukrainian youth team, and because of the war he moved to Germany and played in the German club Art Giants Düsseldorf.
According to BILD, he was returning home with 18-year-old teammate Artem Kozachenko at around 8 p.m. They started arguing with schoolchildren on the bus. When the athletes got off the bus at the railway station, teenagers attacked them with knives.
Ermakov died from his wounds in the hospital. Kazachenko is seriously wounded. The crime was caught on CCTV cameras.
On Monday night, police detained two suspects. The main one is a 15-year-old schoolboy of German-Turkish origin from Gelsenkirchen. He is already known to police as a criminal who has committed several attacks and robberies.
The second is a 14-year-old schoolboy of German-Greek origin from the city of Herne, also known to the police. The first was arrested, the second was handed over to guardians.
