Two SBU drones hit a primary oil refining installation on the night of February 3, without which the plant would lose “a significant part of its production capacity.” The Ukrainian special service is systematically destroying the infrastructure used by the aggressor country to wage war in Ukraine. This was reported by Ukrayinska Pravda with reference to sources.
The SBU noted that attacks on Russian refineries working for the Russian military-industrial complex not only cut off the logistics of fuel supplies for enemy equipment, but also reduce the filling of the Russian budget.
LLC “Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka” is the largest producer of petroleum products in the Southern Federal District of Russia. The capacity of this enterprise is 14.8 million tons. Since 1993, the plant has belonged to a subsidiary of PJSC LUKoil.
Let us remind you that on February 3 in Russia, the LUKoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka oil refinery caught fire due to a drone attack. The fire broke out in the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd, and the fire spread to an area of 300 square meters. m.
