A Mercedes-Benz Vito minibus and a DAF truck collided in the village of Mikhalin, Rivne region.
A fatal accident involving a minibus and a truck occurred in the Rivne region. Four people were killed in the accident and 13 children were orphaned. The head of the Rivne Regional State Administration, Alexander Koval, reported this on his Telegram channel on Saturday, February 3.
“A tragedy occurred yesterday in the territory of the Bereznovskaya community. As a result of a collision between a minibus and a truck, four people died,” said the official.
Children from both families were left without parents.
“In one of the families, the parents lost eight minor children, in another – five. Now all the minors have relatives. The Regional State Administration for Children’s Services is keeping the situation under control,” Koval added.
Let’s remember that on February 2, around 10:00 am, rescuers received a message about a traffic accident involving a Mercedes-Benz Vito minibus and a DAF truck in the village of Mikhalin, Rivne region.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the minibus and two passengers – a 47-year-old resident of the village of Vitkovichi and a 43-year-old resident of the village of Bogushi – died on the spot.
As we have already written, in the Rivne region an ambulance collided with a car: three were injured.
