As a result of investigative and operational actions, cyber specialists of the Security Service exposed in Kyiv a scheme for misuse of budget funds intended for digital transformation in the field of real estate accounting.
According to the conclusions of the forensic economic examination, the participants in the transaction squandered nearly UAH 10 million, provided for the digitization of technical documentation of real estate objects. This was reported by the press service of the SBU on June 18.
It was established that the illegal activity was organized by the leadership of the Kyiv City Bureau of Technical Inventory together with representatives of an affiliated IT company. Officials have created artificial conditions to win the tender for digital adaptation of the BTI accounting system for a total of UAH 30 million.
At the same time, officials deliberately increased the cost of related services and withdrew part of the money through the conversion center to the bank accounts of controlled commercial structures.

In searches of the utility company, the office of a private company and the residences of the organizers of the transaction, law enforcement officials found: seals and documents from more than 30 fabricated companies, as well as documentation , server equipment, computer equipment, mobile phones and black bookkeeping.
Currently, the deputy head of the Kyiv BTI and his accomplice, the head of a private company, were notified of suspicions of committing crimes under Part 5 of Art. 191, part 2 of Art. 366 and part 2 of Art. 367 of the Criminal Code. The issue of choosing the measure of restraint is decided.
A pre -trial investigation is underway to identify and prosecute other individuals involved in the proceedings.
