The border guard with the call sign Odessa did an excellent job against the enemies of the Ukrainian UAR-10 rifle. The State Border Service of Ukraine reported this on January 18 in Telegram.
The two “liberators” forgot that for them, walking on Ukrainian soil is deadly. A sniper with the call sign Odessa reminded them of this, the report says.
As you know, the 7.62-mm self-loading semi-automatic sniper rifle UAR-10 was adopted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 2018. It can be considered an analogue of the American AR-10 automatic rifle.
Due to the automatic removal of powder gases, this rifle can fire up to 21 rounds per minute. Moreover, during firing, the scattering from the aiming point is up to 3 cm. The target range is up to 1 thousand 200 m. The weight of the UAR-10 is only 5 kg, and the length is from 103 to 124 cm.
Let us remind you that on January 17, the commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Alexander Syrsky, published a video online showing the elimination of a Russian invader by a sniper from a distance of 900 m. The “Ghosts of Bakhmut” worked great.
