Ukrainian artist Sonya Morozyuk will not marry Roman Grinkevich, whose father is suspected of corruption while working at the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. He announced it on Instagram.
“I remain Sonya Morozyuk. We will not be a family. I will not take the last name Grinkevich. I will not be with the person who betrayed my country. I will remain Sonya Morozyuk,” said the actress.
She posted a photo of her hand without the ring. He also added that he will sell the jewelry donated by Roman and transfer the money received to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“During our relationship, I received two gifts from Roman – a ring and a necklace. I will sell these things, and the funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (I will write later how it will happen). All suspicions that I allegedly received something else from Roman or members of his family – apartments, cars, real estate, anything – I deny, and I am ready to prove it in court and in any way,” added by Morozyuk.

According to preliminary estimates, the cost of damage may reach more than 1 billion hryvnia.
The Ministry of Defense terminated the agreements concluded with Grinkevich. The Lviv businessman’s family property and controlled companies were seized.
