To the already blocked checkpoints “Syret – Porubnoye” and “Vikovu de Su – Krasnoilsk”, “Halmeu – Dyakovo”, bordering Transcarpathia, was added. This checkpoint was blocked by Romanian equipment today, January 18th. The blocking is carried out by large agricultural machinery. This was reported by the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
The movement of trucks leaving Ukraine has been temporarily suspended to prevent blocking the passage of passenger cars. The timing of the blocking is currently unknown, customs officials emphasized.
The terms of the blockade remain unknown.
At the moment, about 10 trucks are waiting to leave Ukraine, and there are 607 vehicles in “eCherets”. Over the past 24 hours, 138 cars were registered and allowed to leave Ukraine, and 105 cars were allowed to enter.
Let us recall that on January 14, the State Border Service of Ukraine reported that Romanian farmers blocked the movement of trucks through the Siret checkpoint, which is located opposite the Ukrainian checkpoint Porubnoye.
