In the city center, the dictatorship placed a reinforced concrete modular structure to protect against shelling. The local population is called upon to take refuge there in case of danger. The Russian propaganda agency RIA Novosti reported this on January 14.
The day before, Russian media reported that in Belgorod they began to strengthen stops with sandbags and concrete blocks.
Let us remind you that explosions in the Russian Belgorod, located 40 km from the Ukrainian Kharkov, have been heard regularly lately. In particular, on December 30, the Security and Defense Forces launched a missile attack on military installations in this city. On that day, ineffective Russian air defense had already wreaked havoc on the city’s civilian infrastructure. The occupiers announced 20 dead and more than 100 wounded.
And on December 2, Belgorod was again under fire, with Russian authorities reporting injuries and damage. In addition, on January 8, the dictatorship announced the destruction of 10 rockets on approach to Belgorod. That day, three people were injured, cars were on fire, and high-rise buildings were damaged.
