Football referee Vladimir Bezborotko, who made a great contribution to the popularization of football among children and youth in Bukovina, died at the front. The press service of the Football Association reported this on Tuesday, January 9, on Telegram.
The referee died in the direction of Zaporozhye. He is 27 years old.
It is known that he is a DUFL referee. Bezborotko worked in the Football Association of the Chernivtsi region.
The information was confirmed by the Chernivtsi Region Football Association. The death of the hero was called terrible news for the entire Bukovyna football community.
“Vladimir is known as a sincere, bright person, open to the world. He is not only a dedicated football referee, but a good friend, loving son and brother,” Vladimir’s colleagues wrote.
