The airfield used by the Russian invaders came under fire late on January 5th. The 43rd Fighter Aviation Regiment, armed with Su-24 bombers and Su-30 fighters, is based at this airfield. These planes became the basis of the air force attacking the south of Ukraine. This was reported by the monitoring Telegram channel “Crimean Wind”.
In addition, at around 11:45 p.m., at least five explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Yevpatoriya and the area around the city. In Mikhailovka, near a military airfield, and fragments fell on a private house. There was a fire.
The ATESH partisan movement reported on Telegram that all of their agents are working – in December alone they made more than 10 raids in Yevpatoria.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said that Russian air defense allegedly “intercepted and destroyed” four Ukrainian aircraft guided missiles over Crimea.
On January 6, Commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Nikolai Oleshchuk reported on Telegram that Ukrainian aircraft hit the command post of the Russian invaders in Saki.
