In the Russian city of Belgorod on the night of January 2, a series of explosions occurred. The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced the alleged work of air defense.
“In Belgorod and the Belgorod region, our air defense system worked again – nine air targets were shot down on the approach to the city. Operational services are clarifying information about the consequences on the ground,” he wrote in Telegram.
Gladkov added that there was no information yet about casualties. There was damage to the private sector in the city – windows were broken in three houses. A gas pipe and a car were also damaged.
We remind you that on December 30, explosions were heard in Belgorod, after the work of the Russian air defense, rocket fragments fell in the center of the city. As a result of the unsuccessful Russian air defense operation, more than 20 people died.
