Part of the building was damaged, but fortunately the rocket did not explode. Its warhead was stuck in the floor of the first floor. The seriously wounded soldiers were immediately evacuated, and the remaining patients were transferred to safe places on the territory of the medical institution and provided with care. The command of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
Sappers working at the scene seized the warhead of the missile. Other large rocket debris was also removed from the territory of the medical facility. The damaged roof of the building was covered with a special tent.
Medsilah stated that no one was injured as a result of the shelling. The medical facility is already operating as normal.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Kuleba reported on Telegram that liquidation of the consequences of the morning Russian attack on Ukraine is still ongoing. As of 19:20, 130 people were injured and five were killed. Russian missiles and their debris damaged more than 250 civilian objects.
Let us remind you that on January 2, the Russian occupiers launched kamikaze drones and missiles across Ukraine at night and in the morning. In particular, Kyiv and Kharkov came under massive attack, but explosions were also heard in other regions. The enemy used 99 missiles of various types and 35 Shaheds today, but the air defense managed to destroy 72 missiles and all drones.
