Maslova was born in the capital of the so-called “Transnistrian Moldavian Republic” Tiraspol, the majority of whose residents have Russian citizenship. Alina’s family now lives there. The blogger herself lives in Moscow, where she is building a musical career.
The Russian blogger’s visit to Ukraine became known from her Instagram page. There she announced her arrival with her family in the Ukrainian Carpathians. At the same time, she stated that she “loves Ukraine and Russia equally” and does not want to “share this love because of political actions.”
According to local journalist Vitaly Glagola, during a conversation with representatives of the Security Service, Maslova stated that she did not support Russian aggression against Ukraine and apologized to the Ukrainians.
Now law enforcement officers are deporting her from Ukraine, so the New Year will already be celebrated in Raska,” Glagola wrote on his social networks.
