The US Secretary of State noted that the Ukrainians had done the impossible: they had defied one of the largest armies in the world.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has already lost the war in Ukraine because he never achieved his main goal – to wipe Ukraine from the ground and annex it to Russia. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced this on Wednesday, December 20, at a press conference following the year’s results, Ukrinform reports.
He added that the Ukrainians did the impossible: they fought against one of the largest armies in the world.
“I agree with Putin on one thing – American aid is critical for Ukraine,” the American official said.
According to him, the United States has a clear plan for the future restoration of Ukraine.
“For it to sustain itself economically and militarily and exist without the current level of support,” Blinken explained.
The United States will continue to rally countries around the world to “support Ukraine’s freedom and independence and ensure that Russia’s aggression remains a strategic failure,” he added.
Earlier, Antony Blinken said military aid to Ukraine helps create more jobs and grow the American economy.
