The SBU opened a wiretapping case against Zaluzhny

The SBU emphasized that the equipment was not located directly in Valery Zaluzhny’s office, but in one of the places he could use for work in the future.

The Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings regarding the discovery of a technical device in one of the potential locations of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny. This was reported by the SBU press service.

It is reported that the proceedings were opened under Article 359 Part 2 (illegal acquisition, sale or use of special technical means of obtaining information) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

“We note that the equipment was not found directly in the office of Valery Zaluzhny, but in one of the places that he may use for work in the future. According to preliminary data, the discovered device is not working. SBU employees are taking all measures provided for by law to investigate this offense,” the SBU assured.

Earlier, the media reported that in the office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny on Sunday, December 17, while preparing the place for work, a listening device was found.
