Russia’s military losses in the war with Ukraine have already exceeded 236 thousand people.

Over the past 24 hours alone, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have eliminated 1,250 enemy soldiers and officers. 19 tanks, 25 armored fighting vehicles, 37 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, four air defense systems and 56 vehicles were destroyed. 40 drones were also shot down. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on December 17.
The enemy’s total combat losses from February 24, 2022 to December 17, 2023 were approximately:
- personnel – about 346 thousand 70 (+1 thousand 250) people,
- tanks – 5739 (+19) units,
- armored combat vehicles – 10 thousand 692 (+25) units,
- artillery systems – 8 thousand 137 (+37) units,
- MLRS – 923 (+3) units,
- air defense systems – 609 (+4) units,
- aircraft – 324 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 324 (+0) units,
- UAV of operational-tactical level – 6 thousand 278 (+40),
- cruise missiles – 1610 (+1),
- ships/boats – 22 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 10 thousand 766 (+56) units,
- special equipment – 1 thousand 194 (+4)
