We are talking about an apartment near the Kremlin, writes “Schemes”. After the authorities opened the register of declarations, the public and journalists were able to find out that the Boyko family owns an apartment in the center of Moscow near the Kremlin, with an area of 220 square meters. m. Its official cost is 192 million rubles (approximately 77 million UAH).
In a commentary to Schemes, Boyko stated that he considers his property in Russia “frozen.”
There has been no legal way to transfer funds from accounts or in the event of an apartment sale since 2014. And cashing in a suitcase, like Ostap Bender across the Romanian border, was contrary to my principles,” he said.
At the same time, Boyko did not directly answer whether his family pays the mandatory regular tax on an individual’s real estate to the Russian budget, which should amount to almost 400 thousand rubles (about 150 thousand UAH) annually.
The property is registered in the name of the people’s deputy’s wife and acquired in 2006, two months after Boyko was appointed Minister of Fuel and Energy in the government of Viktor Yanukovych.
In the declaration, the deputy indicated that the cost of the apartment is only 2 million 726 thousand UAH (it can indicate the value as of the date of purchase of the property).
In addition, Boyko keeps 7.6 million rubles in the Russian NK Bank, and in Ukrainian accounts: 83 million hryvnia, 467 thousand dollars, 120 thousand euros.
In 2022, the Boyko family received almost 18 million UAH of income, most of the amount (14.5 million) as a gift from their son.
