Favbet company joined the project Operation Unity-2. New Year’s fireworks fundraising platform UNITED24 and donated 10 million UAH for the purchase of FPV drones with ammunition. The platform’s press service reported this on Wednesday, December 13.
“This is the largest corporate contribution from the first donors. Thank you for your strong support! When you are a plus, the opponents are a minus! Let’s give the occupiers real fireworks,” UNITED24 said in a statement. .
The founder of Favbet and the president of the Favbet Foundation, Andrey Matyukha, said that the company did not hesitate to respond to the initiative of UNITED24 to purchase thermal imaging FPV drones.
“Assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine is an absolute priority for Ukrainian business today,” he said.
General purpose of the collection Operation Unity-2. New Year’s fireworks – UAH 220 million for 5,000 thousand FPV drones with ammunition. 3,000 drones with thermal imagers and 2,000 with day cameras will be purchased abroad and equipped with integrated, high-explosive fragmentation warheads made in Ukraine. The drones will be able to cover distances from 12 to 22 kilometers, depending on the weight of the ammunition. All of them will be sent to the hottest place in the front.
As reported, in November Favbet donated 4 million UAH to fund UNITED24 Safe Heaven. It is designed to provide air defense forces with a system of air target identification detectors.
And last week it was reported that the Favbet Foundation donated 251 cars to the fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
