Next, these trucks will have to reach their destination via roads. Previously, Ukraine and Poland agreed on all issues of transportation and customs and border procedures. The Ukrzaliznytsia company reported this on Facebook.
The railway workers emphasized that the next departures are planned to be made regular and to involve more modernized platforms in transportation.
Let us remind you that Ukrzaliznytsia organized a piggyback train between Ukraine and Poland for transporting trucks, running along the route Sknilov (Ukraine) – Slawkow (Poland). This is how Ukrainian exporters and authorities are trying to solve the problem of crossing the border, which is blocked by Polish carriers.
The first train with trucks left for Poland on December 7. The train had 23 platforms onto which 13 tractors with semi-trailers were loaded.
