The General Staff states that the Defense Forces have positions on the left bank of the Dnieper, Kherson region.
Ukrainian defenders repulsed Russian attacks on five frontal directions. This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, published on its Facebook page.
The enemy launched a missile and five air strikes, carried out 25 attacks with MLRS on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. The Russian invaders attacked Ukraine again, using the X-59 guided missile, which was successfully destroyed by the Ukrainian air defense forces and means.
About 25 settlements were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling, among them: Plokhov, Klyusy, Baranovka, Rozhkovichi, Fotovyzh, Starikov, Volfino, Sumy region; Ternovaya, Staritsa, Bochkovo, Kharkov region.
Ukrainian defenders repelled 4 enemy attacks in the areas of Sinkovka, Kharkov region and Novoselovsky, Lugansk region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including: Two-year-old, Sinkovka, Ivanovka, Petropavlovka, Kupyansk in the Kharkov region.
The enemy did not take offensive actions (attack). About 10 settlements were destroyed by enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Nevskoye, Belogorovka in the Luhansk region and Torskoye, Verkhnekamennoye, Spornoye, Razdolevka in the Donetsk region.
The defense forces repelled 12 enemy attacks in the Bogdanovka, Ivanovsky and Klishchievka areas of the Donetsk region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Vasyukovka, Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Bogdanovka, Klishchievka, Andreevka, New York, Donetsk region.
The defenders of Ukraine repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas east of Novobakhmutovka, Avdeevka, Tonenky, Pervomaisky Donetsk region, where the enemy tried unsuccessfully to break the defenses of our troops. About 15 settlements suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shells, among them Novobakhmutovka, Stepnoe, Avdeevka, Severnoye, Tonechko, Pervomaiskoe in the Donetsk region.
The defense forces continue to contain the enemy in the areas of Marinka, Pobeda and Novomikhailovka of the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with aviation support, made 8 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our protectors. Settlements of the Donetsk region such as Marinka, Pobeda, Novomikhailovka, Paraskoveevka, Konstantinovka, Ekaterinivka came under artillery and mortar fire from the invaders.
The defense forces repelled two enemy attacks, which tried to dislodge our units from their occupied lines in the area of the village of Staromayorskoye, Donetsk region. The enemy launched an air strike in the Prechistovka area of the Donetsk region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar shelling, including Vodyanoye, Ugledar, Prechistovka, Zolotaya Niva, Urozhainoye in the Donetsk region.
The defense forces repelled three enemy attacks in the areas of Novopokrovka and west of Robotinoye, Zaporozhye region. More than 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar shelling, including Levadne, Novodanilovka, Novopavlovka, Lobkovo, Stepnoe in the Zaporozhye region and Nikopol in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
Kherson, Berislav, Tyaginka and Ivanovka in the Kherson region came under enemy artillery.
The defense forces subsequently hold positions on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region and continue to inflict heavy losses on the enemy.
The units of the missile forces caused the defeat of the enemy’s two fuel and lubricant compositions.
As we already wrote, on December 6, Ukrainian defenders destroyed a Russian helicopter using HIMARS MLRS near Liman in the Donetsk region.
It was also reported that the UAV strike companies hit 132 units of Russian equipment in one week – 30 armored combat vehicles, 32 guns and 55 strongholds of the invaders.
