The Poles said that they had been studying this business for three years, and we told them that we had no choice,” said the PT-91 tankman.
In Zaporozhye, PT-91 tanks conduct combat work against the enemy from closed positions or primarily fire at Russian infantry.
Back in July 2022, the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Ermak announced that Ukraine had received the first PT-91 Twardy.
In January 2023, Polish Prime Minister Morawiecki announced plans to transfer 60 tanks to Ukraine, among which 30 vehicles will be PT-91 Twardy.
“Military” writes that the main battle tank of the Polish army PT-91 was produced on the basis of a licensed version of the Soviet T-72M1 combat vehicle.

RT-91 has modern fire control and communication systems. Protection of the tank and crew is further enhanced by mounted dynamic protection.
