Reuters reports that discussion of the draft agreement will begin at the summit of EU leaders, which will take place on December 14-15.
The meeting of ambassadors is the beginning of preparations for the December summit, which will discuss not only the European integration of Ukraine, but also Moldova, Georgia, Bosnia and other countries.
As noted in the draft document, Euroradio decides to open negotiations on membership with Ukraine and Moldova.
In addition, EU leaders will declare their readiness to begin negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding membership once the country meets the necessary conditions. The draft declaration also states that the EU is ready to grant Georgia EU candidate status “when and if the country fulfills the necessary conditions.”
As the agency emphasizes, citing European diplomats, this is the first version of the final declaration, which is expected to be changed during negotiations between representatives of member countries before the summit.
