The corresponding decision was made after negotiations with Polish carriers. The consul also took part in the negotiations. The parties agreed that seven trucks per hour will pass through the checkpoint. At the same time, humanitarian and military cargo heading to Ukraine will be allowed to pass through out of turn. This was reported by Public on December 1.
After negotiations, Ukrainian drivers suspended their hunger strike, but announced their readiness to extend it if Polish carriers violate the agreements before December 3.
Let us remind you that on December 1, Ukrainian truck drivers went on a hunger strike due to blocking the border with Poland. Drivers demand that Polish strikers allow more trucks through, because on the night of November 30 to December 1, Polish border guards did not allow a single Ukrainian truck through the Krakovets-Korcheva checkpoint.
Subsequently, today it became known that Ukraine and Poland have agreed on measures to partially unblock the border. The parties agreed to open the Ugrinov-Dolgobychev checkpoint for the passage of empty trucks.
