In the period from November 23 to 25, DTEK repair teams resumed electricity supplies to nearly 25 thousand consumers in 60 settlements in Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions. The energy holding announced this on Sunday, November 26.
“Fierce fighting continues on the territory of the Donetsk region. Despite the ongoing shelling in the region, over the past four days, electrical engineers have restored electricity to 23.2 thousand families in the Donetsk region, whose residents are continues to suffer the consequences of enemy shelling,” the message said.
It is indicated that the south of the Dnepropetrovsk region also suffers from frequent shelling. The networks and equipment there are constantly being damaged. In this region, electrical engineers restored power to 1.6 thousand residents who lost power as a result of Russian attacks.
The company recalled that in some settlements near the combat zone, DTEK specialists have restored power dozens of times and continue to do so again.
It was previously known that DTEK specialists returned three units of thermal power plants, taken for short-term repairs, back to the energy system.
And the day before it was reported that DTEK imported more than 100 thousand tons of coal from Poland. This will allow the heating season to pass more reliably.
