Ivanka Trump’s testimony that she believed former Attorney General Bill Barry when she said the 2020 election was not stolen was one of the most compelling moments of the commission’s hearing on Thursday night, Jan.6.
However, Rich Lowry, editor-in-chief of the conservative National Review, denied the allegations Friday, and said the comments of former President Donald Trump’s son, who is also an adviser to his White House, were “completely free. and obvious. “He just wanted to embarrass her.”
Ivanka Trump’s clip has garnered a lot of attention, but her participation is completely free and clearly only intended to embarrass her: a committee that seems committed to the safety of our democracy shouldn’t be so corny and should do more great.

As many Twitter users have pointed out, this argument quickly collapses when you consider that Ivanka Trump’s testimony clarified that senior White House officials did not believe her father’s fake statements even though they continue to support them in American society.
And when we consider that Lowry is more concerned with the feelings of his former first daughter than, say, the future of American democracy.
Lord no, heaven is the chief counsel of the president, who knows that his father lied, but accompanied him, he should be * ashamed *. https://t.co/aW7vUvs3AG

Has anyone been closer politically and personally to the former president? Many Trump officials have cited Ivanka as the only one who can convince her and have often worked for her. Is your view on the 11/20-oriented claims of your presidency inconsistent?

Trump family members who worked with the president and vowed to uphold the constitution as true public officials are expected to act until it gets too busy for them. https://t.co/hdTWTIT2ki

He was an adviser to the White House and he clarified he knew they were full of presidents. If he didn’t want to keep an eye on her, he wouldn’t have gotten a job. The fact that Ivanka and Kushner are gone only exposes them as selfish opportunists and nepotists. https://t.co/DGRYDrLHTi

This was not his shame; It’s a celebration of how no one believes a big lie.
If anything, it was a shame for Donald and not for him. https://t.co/oCQq4lntfA

No, it’s not “free”. This was shown in a series of clips from Trump officials confirming that they did not believe the election was stolen and that Trump was told he had been defeated. Trump knows and continues to carry out the coup attempt.
Clearly this is an attempt to show purpose. https://t.co/4aqHIISdmR

I will surely discover that the man who continues to be described as his most trusted adviser in the White House, realizing that he lost the election, is far from independent. The fact that he first worked for the White House did not bear fruit. https://t.co/91QuZnCGZx

Make sure you focus on this part and not the content if you don’t like the whole part where we will vote our government https://t.co/PuJTFPh7SJ

Men. Guys, look how close they are to Princess Ivanka and not try to figure out who is asking for forgiveness. https://t.co/vD1vrem3sA

But someone saw Lowry’s positive tweet.
Watching these people after listening last night is ridiculous and a good sign that the listening itself is effective https://t.co/phwwJ6PgSI

Meanwhile, Donald Trump criticized his daughter’s testimony on his Truth Social app on Friday, saying “he was not involved in viewing or analyzing election results” and “I think he was just trying to respect Bill Barr and he. ” The position of Attorney General (laugh at him!) ».
