The panel of judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court today, November 21, granted the petition of the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office and recovered this bail, which was paid for the people’s deputy in the case of illegal misappropriation of UAH 93 million of funds from PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia. This was reported by the SAPS press service.
The prosecutor’s office noted that the servants of Themis decided to transfer these funds to a special account of the National Bank to raise funds in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
We would like to remind you that on November 2, a panel of judges of the Supreme Court of Justice granted the request of the SAPO prosecutor to place MP Yaroslav Dubnevich on the international wanted list. The people’s deputy is accused of illegally appropriating UAH 93 million in funds from Ukrzaliznytsia. The parliamentarian is also suspected in the case of theft of state property (natural gas) worth UAH 2.1 billion.
And on November 13, the High Anti-Corruption Court chose in absentia a preventive measure for Dubnevich in the form of detention.
