The Russians came to the story of the search for a “maniac” to conduct sweeps in the villages of the Mariupol region.
The Russian occupiers use the legend of the search for a “maniac” to close the occupied settlements of the Mariupol region to entry and exit as part of complex “cleansing operations.” This was said by the adviser to Mariupol mayor Pyotr Andryushchenko.
Earlier this week, the invaders already conducted search operations in the villages of Kamyshevatoye, Demyanovka, Babakh-Tarama and Urzuv, who were hiding behind this legend, the official recalled.
According to him, the invaders use a scenario: they surround the village, start going around people’s houses, check documents, searches and random interrogations continue.
“The same legend is used – the search for a ‘maniac’, a ‘rapist of a 9-year-old girl’ or something similar. In fact, the reality of such a crime has not been confirmed. The cover is constant to ensure the pro-Ukrainian population, “said Andryushchenko.
He added that these steps on the part of Russia coincided with the routes of the collapse of the enemy’s military ranks.
The official said the mayor’s office predicts that the cleanup will flow further into Mariupol.
“All who need it have received a warning.” He called on Ukrainians to also warn their loved ones about this so that they do not become accidental victims of Russian terrorism,” concluded Andryushchenko.
We remind you that the Prosecutor General’s Office believes that the number of dead Ukrainians in Mariupol may be at least 10 times greater than known.
The invaders have already brought more than 30 thousand migrants to Mariupol – CNS
