As part of the project, it is planned to create opportunities for the transshipment of agricultural products, build warehouses and place containers for grain, oil and others.
A “dry port” will appear in the village of Goronda in Transcarpathia, which will help export agricultural products. Because of this, it is possible to create more than 200 new jobs. This was reported by the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration.
The dry port will be built as part of the Horonda Platform project, which is being implemented jointly with Italian investors. It is planned to build infrastructure for storage and export of agricultural products.
“The emergence of such an overland grain corridor in our region is a priority task of national importance. This project is especially important during the war. We are grateful for the great trust of the country’s leadership and international investors,” said the head of Transcarpathian OVA, Viktor Mikita.
According to him, the logistics hub will contribute to the development of Ukraine’s export potential, and will also allow local agricultural producers to expand to foreign markets. As part of the project, it is planned to create opportunities for the transshipment of agricultural products, build warehouses and place containers for grain, oil and others.
We remind you that the government of Ukraine is taking measures to solve the problem of “black” grains, and they are already producing the desired results. It is expected that there will be fewer requests from farmers who want to sell crops that are legal, but there is no one, thanks to the introduction of a list of verified agricultural exporters.
It was also reported that the Cabinet of Ministers has created a new mechanism for insuring ships against war risks, which will significantly reduce existing insurance premiums for carriers that export and import to Ukraine by sea.
