This summer, an app specializing in food evaluation analyzed and ranked aperitif cookies according to Nutri-Score, additives and environmental impact. Back to the podium.

Since 2017, the Yuka app has become our secret weapon for deciphering our everyday product labels. In August 2023, in order to see us more clearly, a new functionality appeared in the application, which listed the best products by food category. Beauty products, cookies for snacks… These different ratings are available to users by subscribing to a premium subscription or by sharing the app with their contacts. Among the test benches that interest us today, we find the benches dedicated to aperitif cookies, a real guilty pleasure of our evenings with friends.

To carry out this comparative study, twenty references were evaluated by the application algorithm based on three criteria: their Nutri-Score (60% points), the presence of additives in their composition (30% points) and their organic. dimension, in other words a product labeled with the official organic label (10% points). Products rich in protein and fiber

The first observation is the U Saveurs brand of curry flavored pea snacks, which stand out for their nutritional richness. Rated 78/100, this snack provides a significant source of protein (19g per 100g) and fiber (8.2g per 100g). In addition, the reference does not contain additives harmful to health, but extracts of paprika, rosemary or even lactic acid, which are used by the food industry as a flavor enhancer.
