People’s Deputy from Batkivshchyna Andrey Nikolaenko confirmed his involvement in a fatal accident near Zhitomir. He wrote this on Facebook on Friday, November 3.
“Unfortunately, this is true. Now the worst thing that can happen to a driver happened to me – a person died under the wheels of the car I was driving,” he wrote.
Nikolayenko assured that he will assist in all possible ways the investigative actions of the DBI and voluntarily submit to all necessary checks.
“I was sober, I didn’t break the rules, but the tragedy was inevitable… My most sincere condolences to the family,” added the citizen’s deputy.
Earlier on Friday, the media reported Nikolaenko’s involvement in a fatal accident on the Kyiv-Chop highway in the Zhytomyr region. An 18-year-old woman died. The representative of the people drives a Mercedes-Benz GLE.
