Abbot Pierre and his guardian angel
Nearly thirty-five years after success“Winter 54, with Lambert Wilson as Abbe Pierre, a new biopic dedicated to the founder of Emmaüs. This time, the feature film focuses not on any one chapter in the life of Henri Grues (his real name), but on his entire journey. The World War, his years in the National Assembly and, above all, the creation of Emmaüs, which fought against the exclusion of the weakest, wherever they came from, would make him world famous. But what this mural tells above all, and which we know less about, is the unshakable friendship between the priest and Lucie Kutaz, his right arm, his confidant, his fighting sister, who remained in the shadows for nearly forty years. Hilarious and unique insight, fueled by the obvious complicity of actors Benjamin Laverne and Emmanuel Bercot. A bond fueled by a shared generosity that propels this classic film forward. Enough for the younger generation to discover two of the greatest humanist figures of the 20th century. M.L.

Like a palimpsest we find images, motifs, references to the play. It was as if this creation was the ghost of creation itself. » L.K.

Enlightened members of the 15 15 group challenge the conventional sense of time and the conventional way consciousness clocks it. As we allow ourselves to be carried away by the arrhythmic beats of this dazzling Paris-Tahitian collective, the hands of the clock move back and forth in a hypnotic race. During each EP title Ataeva, the sonic canvas takes shape against the backdrop of electronic music magic, sound effects that evoke metallurgical factory gears and joyful organic sounds. Percussion, bells, offbeats and glissandos accompany solos worthy of Ornette Coleman’s take-offs. The quintet of seasoned musicians 15 15 brings together eras, folklore and futurism. Their shows combine R’n’B, jazz, trip-hop, trail and electro. The two members of the group, originally from Tahiti, amaze with their Polynesian oratory mixed with sensual hip-hop songwriting. Ataevaa Polynesian first name meaning “one who rules the waves”, it addresses the theme of death as an integral part of life and encourages us to think about the value of existence. PG:
