On the night of October 25, Russian troops attacked the territory of Ukraine, using 11 Shahed-type attack UAVs. This was reported by the command of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It was noted that the drones were launched from the southeast direction (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russian Federation).
“As a result of the fighting forces and methods of the Air Force in cooperation with the air defense of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, all 11 Shahed-136/131 were destroyed,” the military stressed.
Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the air attack. Air defense is managed in Cherkassy, Kherson, Poltava, Zhitomir, Khmelnytsky and Nikolaev regions.
Earlier it was reported that in the Khmelnitsky region, enemy UAVs fell on the territory of a critical infrastructure facility. The blast wave damaged non-residential premises, residential buildings and vehicles. 16 people were injured.
We remind you that the day before the Russians sent six drones to attack Ukrainian territory. All enemy air targets were shot down.
