Sometimes it is mandatory (presence in battles – ed.). Because we are all human. And everyone gets scared sometimes. Sometimes I find options on how to do this (to cheer up the fighters – ed.), – Budanov noted in an interview with Dmitry Komarov.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate was asked whether the risk of losing the head of intelligence during hostilities was justified; he called this question “purely rhetorical.”
If it gives a positive result, then it was done correctly. If there is no positive result, then there were errors. The winners are not judged,” Budanov noted.
Let us remind you that Budanov took part in a special operation to liberate the village of Russkaya Lozovaya, Kharkov region at the end of April 2022.
