The General Staff announced the situation at the front

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue offensive operations in the direction of Melitopol, offensive (attack) actions in the direction of Bakhmut, causing damage to the occupation forces in manpower and equipment. In total, 64 clashes took place in one day. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It was noted that during the day, the Defense Forces aviation carried out 15 strikes on areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated, and three more on the Russian anti-aircraft missile system. A Russian Su-25 aircraft and four operational-tactical reconnaissance UAVs were also destroyed.

Units of the missile forces hit two control points, the Tor anti-aircraft missile system, the Zoopark-1M radar station and 11 enemy artillery pieces.

Reportedly, at the beginning of the day, Russian troops carried out additional missile attacks on civilian targets in the cities of Kharkov, Zaporozhye and the village of Obukhovka, Dnepropetrovsk region.

The enemy carried out 11 missiles and 46 air strikes, carried out more than 30 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. There have been civilian deaths and injuries as a result of terrorist attacks in Russia. A five-story residential building, a church, more than 20 private houses, as well as other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

According to the General Staff, the operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

In the directions of Volyn and Polesie, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There are no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Some units of the Armed Forces of Belarus carry out tasks in the border areas of Ukraine.

At the direction of Seversky and Slobozhansky, Russia maintains a military presence in the border areas, continues to prosecute settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers on the border of state of Ukraine. About 10 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Popovka, Chernihiv region; Volfino, Obody, Novonikolaevka, Grabovskoye, Sumy region; Pletenovka, Zybino, Kharkov region.

In the direction of Kupyansk, Ukrainian soldiers repelled more than 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Sinkovka, Ivanovka and Kislovka in the Kharkov region and about 10 more attacks near Nadezhda in the Lugansk region. The enemy launched an air strike in the Peschany area of ​​the Kharkov region. About 10 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, in particular Dvurechnaya, Petropavlovka, Kucherivka, Ivanovka, Kislovka, Berestovo in the Kharkov region.

At the direction of Liman, the Russians carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Nevskoye, Novolyubovka, Belogorovka in the Luhansk region and Spornoye in the Donetsk region. The Defense Forces also repelled three enemy attacks in the area of ​​Makeevka in the Lugansk region. About 15 settlements were damaged by artillery and mortar shelling, including Nevskoye, Kremennaya, Belogorovka in the Lugansk region and Novosadovo, Torskoye, Spornoye in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled enemy attacks in the Kleshchievka area of ​​the Donetsk region. About 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, in particular, Chasov Yar, Ivanovskoye, Kleshchievka, Andreevka, Otradovka, Kurdyumovka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdeevka direction, the Russians conducted unsuccessful attack operations with aviation support in the Avdeevka area of ​​the Donetsk region. The enemy also carried out an air strike near Kamenka, Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar shelling, including Keramik, Stepnoe, Avdeevka, Opytnoye, Pivnichnoye, Tonenkoye in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinsky direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful attack operations with aviation support in the area of ​​Marinka and Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region. Here the Defense Forces repulsed around 15 enemy attacks. The enemy also carried out an air strike near Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire from the invaders, namely, Krasnohorivka, Alexandropol, Georgievka, Maryinka, Novomikhailovka, Yekaterinivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsky direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled Russian attacks in the Novomayorsky area of ​​the Donetsk region. The invaders carried out air strikes near Staromayorsky and Urozhayny, Donetsk region. About 20 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, in particular, Vodyanoye, Ugledar, Prechistovka, Zolotaya Niva, Blagodatnoye, Urozhaynoye in the Donetsk region.

In the direction of Zaporozhye, Ukrainian soldiers repelled all Russian attacks east of Malaya Tokmachka, Zaporozhye region. More than 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar shelling, including Belogorye, Orekhov, Novodanilovka, Novoandreevka, Malye Shcherbaki, Pyatikhatki in the Zaporozhye region.

In the Kherson direction, the invaders carried out air strikes near Novoberislav, Kazatsky, Olgovka, Prydneprovsky and Peschanivka in the Kherson region. Kozatskoe, Tyaginka, Blagoveshchenskoe, Chernobaevka of the Kherson region and Kherson, as well as Solonchaki of the Nikolaev region came under enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

It is also reported that the Russian occupiers continue to blatantly violate the norms of international humanitarian law, forcibly cohabiting with the civilian population in their homes with the aim of using civilians as human shields. So, in the village of Tokmak, Zaporozhye region, military personnel of the Russian occupation forces were moved en masse to multi-storey buildings where local residents lived.
