In the past 24 hours, Russian troops have pelted populated areas in the Kherson region 70 times. The head of the regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin, announced this on October 18.
He noted that the invaders fired 404 bullets from mortars, artillery, Grads, infantry fighting vehicles, tanks, aircraft and UAVs. In particular, 16 shells hit the city of Kherson.
“The Russian military entered the residential areas of the settlements in the region; the construction of an educational institution, a railway transport enterprise, the territory of a park and embankment in Kherson. Due to the Russian invasion, six people were injured,” the head of emphasized the region.
