89.26% of votes have already been counted. This is evidenced by data on the website of the National Election Commission of Poland.
The counted votes were distributed as follows:
- ruling party “Law and Justice” – 36.46%;
- “Civil Coalition” – 29.64%;
- “Third way” – 14.49%;
- “New Left” – 8.39%;
- “Confederation” – 7.23%.
The remaining political forces receive less than 2% of the votes. The threshold for parties is 5% of the vote, and for blocs – 8%.
Thus, compared to earlier counting data, the opposition political forces are gradually closing the gap with Law and Justice and the vote count results are moving closer to the exit polls. This could provide an opportunity for Civic Platform, Third Way and the New Left to build a new coalition.
