Jojo Todynho filed a lawsuit against Val Marchiori and requested compensation of R$50,000 for moral damages after the influencer made fatphobic comments about the presenter.
During a podcast, the socialite spoke about Jojo’s weight and mocked the relationship between the presenter and her ex-husband, Lucas Souza.
The comment took place in August of this year and, at the time, Val stated that Jojo should have bariatric surgery and commented on the sexual relationship between the presenter and the ex-soldier.
“Imagine Jojo on top of that ex-husband? My God. It’s the same thing as squeezing, I don’t know, an orange. Imagine Jojo on top? It does not give”, said Val. About bariatric surgery, the socialite said: “She really had to do it. She was very heavy”.
Jojo underwent bariatric surgery on August 8 and revealed that her participation in Dança dos Famosos influenced her in making the decision to undergo the surgical procedure.
“After I participated in Dança dos Famosos. Rolon was a wonderful teacher and he adapted the steps. Sometimes I didn’t want to perform because I was insecure. It was a moment that triggered. ‘Jordana, you love yourself. But are we going to take extra care of your health?’”, reported.
