In celebration of Disney’s 100th anniversary, different generations of Disney princesses were able to get together; check out the moment!
Asha and Snow White together? The first and last Disney princess, until then, appeared side by side in the new Casa do Mickey short film, “Era uma vez um Estúdio”, released this Monday, 16th, directly on Disney+ in celebration of 100 years foundation of the magic studio created in 1923 by Walt it’s your brother, Roy Disney.
How was the meeting?
This is because, in the production lasting just over 11 minutes, the 543 figures who star in Disney’s animated stories share the desire to complete a very important mission: take a group photo in celebration of the studio’s century of existence.
To this end, the film, which mixes animation and real scenes, follows the characters jumping from the paintings displayed in the animation studio after the employees leave, where they run through the corridors until they reach the facade of the place, where they come together to record the moment.
However, Goofy is responsible for positioning the camera, and due to his clumsy behavior, he ends up breaking the object. Without the possibility of taking photos, Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh, Grumpy from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, Simba from “The Lion King” and everyone else give up on immortalizing the centenary, until they are surprised.
This is because, “When You Wish Upon a Star”, a song that marks the “Pinocchio” soundtrack, begins to be played and sung by the studio figures, gaining an even more exciting version, when it gains its first lines in the voices of Bela from “Beauty and the Beast”, Quasimodo from “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”, Ariel from “The Little Mermaid”, Baloo and Mowgli from “The Jungle Book” and Pocahontas.
Soon, more characters join in the singing, and among them is Snow White, the princess who starred in the studio’s first animated feature film in 1937. When she appears on screen, she joins hands with Asha, the most recent princess created by the studio, and Mulan, moments before everyone’s wish came true and the iconic photo was taken. Look!
It is worth remembering that the 17-year-old princess, that is, Asha, will star in Disney’s next animated feature film, “Wish: the Power of Wishes”, which is scheduled to premiere in Brazil on January 4, 2024.
